MANGUS II CHARTERS (Fishing report April 2008)
Well it has been a long dry spell for me; I haven’t done much fishing since before the Holidays. I spent most of December and January in Maryland helping my dad care for my Mother Margaret. The good Lord called her home January 16 and we have been trying to move forward as she would have liked.
Additionally my Father who was scheduled to fly down and visit us for a couple of Months was involved in a serious accident a few days prior to his flight! He was banged up pretty bad and we had some scary moments but thankfully he is on the mend now and we are praying for a speedy recovery.
Well now it’s time to buckle down and get busy fishing, I’ve been waiting patiently for the windy weather to calm down so I can get out on the water.
I have taken a few customers out when the weather permits but I’ve had to reschedule quite a few due to the windy conditions. The windy weather is pretty consistent for this time of year and should be dying back soon.
I’ve had a couple of trips this week and we caught some beautiful trout and a few Drum.
I will update the site in a couple of week when I’ve done a little more fishing ;-)
Thanks and good fishing
